MIGRATION
On the way to Gatekeepers Church sitting alone in the bus, Anita and Lea are just in front of me and some others are having their own conversation today.
I was in a moment of reading the book Birthing the Miraculous, suddenly far from where we are at the minute, I saw a Tourist bus stop in Bird watching spot. This is where migratory birds came to drink and find food.
I once went there with my brother and sister together with their family. It was wonderful experienced to see the birds fly and ascend and descend to the ground or to the water, to see the birds in a company with other birds some with the same kind and some are not, it was such a great experienced.
At this is I consider myself as a migrant of this country (Dubai, UAE) this is just my temporary place to stay to drink and be feed by the love of God through its river that seems no end.
I was looking at the river while the migratory birds came for fresh fish to eat and fresh water to drink. The river seems so rich and no end. There are trees planted in the water that grows healthy and green in the dry season like summer. Here in Dubai June-July-Aug till mid of sept is the hottest months. Today 23rd of June expected to have 41 degrees celsius. I was amazed the provisions of God to those migratory birds especially in this season. Flamingo is one of this birds, who consider the swamp of that river as there temporary residence, I don't have any idea until when they will stay but what I am sure is that they are well fed in this place that's why they choose to stay and their numbers are growing.
Same with us, we all want to stay in places where provisions are available and will make us comfortable. We also love the company of others. We also want to grow. This must be a good picture of a church.
I enjoying watching the view while the bus was moving and reflecting as well. I saw a lot of healthy growing trees planted on the water. How vast the richness of this body of water maybe.
While enjoying the view I sense like the Holy Spirit reminds me about how God's love me.
"I make streams of water in the desert"
Wow! How vast is the love of God on us? It's so wonderful and amazing to have a God who loves us without any condition. There is no day that he doesn't think about us. He always has us in His heart. He always wanted the best for us. He wanted to give all His richness for us. How great is His love?
Today I felt like I am ready to give it to Him whatever it will cost me. I knew it in my very heart that to give it all to Him will cost my life. I knew that it was difficult from the very beginning I even don't know if I can carry it until the end. The only thing I know was I just want to be with Him everyday of my life whatever the cost. I knew my heart yearns for Him. I couldn't imagine how am I without Him.
So today I invited the Lord to be with me wherever I will go. Direct me to a path that He wanted me to take. I just want to follow Him wherever He takes me.
Father today I ask in the name of your mighty son Jesus to be with me in everything I do. I just want to be with you. My heart belongs to you. Its no longer mine but yours.
